Registration for our annual meeting is now open. We will be meeting at Fort Yargo State Park on Friday, December 1. You may register for the meeting here. Registration will close Nov 24. If you are interested in presenting at the meeting, please fill out the call for abstracts form here. Call for abstracts will close Nov 10.
A couple of announcements:
1) Our meeting will kick off with a Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator (NWCO) Bat House Installation Workshop at 9am. This workshop is open to all GBWG members interested in attending, but will be geared towards NWCOs. If you are a NWCO, please register for the event separately when the workshop registration is opened (to be announced). GBWG members can register with the meeting registration linked above.
2) Official working group business will not start until after the workshop. Registration check-in for the meeting itself and a pizza lunch will begin then. Please arrive by 12pm to make sure you get checked-in and get your choice in pizza! Registration for the meeting will be $10 cash to help cover the pizza lunch and the social after the meeting. Please plan to pay registration when you arrive at the meeting.
3) We will have a silent auction at the meeting this year to fundraise for the working group! If you have any items you would like to donate to the silent auction, please bring them to the meeting. We will close the silent auction at the social and dole out prizes to the highest bidder!
The whole day will be hosted at Fort Yargo State Park (Group Shelter B). An agenda will be released in November. Hope to see y’all there!
